The Poplar Island Narrows paintings are based on birds’ eye map images of an area in the Chesapeake Bay.  The painting process involved building up many layers.  The layers of texture reflect the unique experimental landscape of Poplar Island and the surrounding waters. Mixed Media Acrylic, 24" x 24".
